Our Suggestions on How to Use the Site:
1. Start with a search on the topic you are looking for. The search tool with look at both the Library and the Discussions for any information on your topic. 2. If you want more information, you can ask the question in the Discussion Room section. You can set your preferences to notify you when anyone responds to your question. Your question or comment may start a discussion, called a “thread”, which can be a great source of information. 3. YOU decide if your question has been answered. You can mark your questioned “answered” which ends the discussion, and you can also rate the quality of the answer. If no one answers your question to your satisfaction, your question will be forwarded to our experts. They will consider your question and give their best response. A few hints:
You can only ask questions and add comments in the Discussion Room. • To start a new topic or ask a question, you have to be in a specific topic area. You will see a menu of actions including “Post New Thread”. • To respond to someone else’s question, just use “Reply” • When you receive a reply to your question, you can rate the quality of the response and mark your question as “answered” or leave it unanswered if you want more discussion. • You can set your personal preferences to automatically send you every reply to your question right away, or hold them for hours, days or even weeks. • You can also set up a “watch” on any discussion that you find interesting. You can choose to be notified, and how often, when new replies are made.
In the Discussion Room: • The small red circle next to the main subject shows that information has been added since the last time you logged in. • The small gray circle shows that there has been no new information added.
