About
the Community
What
This is a free site intended as a community resource for small business
owners and entrepreneurs. Although the resources listed here are centered
around the Portland, Oregon area, we welcome the participation of any small
business owners and entrepreneurs, no matter where you live and work!
Why
Small business owners, almost by definition, are too busy and often too
tired to attend meetings, join business associations or take time to seek
out help and advice as questions arise. We are hoping that this site can
be a resource and a virtual meeting place where you can find useful information
on your time schedule, find support and help from other owners, and benefit
from the experience and knowledge of your colleagues.
How
How do we make this a Community ? By participation ! The more people use
this site, add to the discussions, provide informational documents and templates,
give suggestions and ask for new resources, the more useful this site will
become. We want your feedback and suggestions. And we have a place for them.
